The house has a roof stack

HCMC, a young couple wants a new house in Go Vap district to be a combination of small houses with many layers of roof.

They love the feeling of being in an attic room, private and secure. In addition to the purpose of building a nest for themselves and their children, the couple also use a part of the house to do business, so they need the building with many diverse angles.

After three months of design and eight months of construction on a 65-square-meter plot, the house was formed with a total of four sets of roofs, including the roof roof. Thanks to this treatment, each room gives the homeowner the feeling of being under an independent, separate roof. Architects also design steel floors on the rooftop so that they re-experience the feeling of lying on the roof looking at the clouds in the afternoon as a child.

Contrary to the conventional housing model that combines a normal business place, the family living space is located on the lower floors, while shops and studios are on higher floors. Corridor bridge system connects rooms together, orientation of movement and clearly separates each functional area.

The stairs are located in many different positions with the aim of turning the movement inside the house like a ride with constantly changing perspectives.

The work uses the most basic and raw materials, not ceramic tiles and wallpaper, but complete with iron, abrasive stone, grinding concrete, oil paste, water paint. In particular, the equipment and materials are selected by the homeowner by hand with the advice of the architect. The couple also decided to take half a year off work to be able to supervise the project. Not only are they satisfied with the end result but also with the construction process.

The total cost of completing the project is 2.8 billion VND.
